Entity Relationship Diagram using Reverse Engineering wizard in MicroSoft Visio

We can create an ERD of the existing tables lying in the SQL Server database through Reverse Engineering Wizard option available in MicroSoft Visio.

Below figures will the show the process step by step to understand easily:






When we using the incompatible versions like Visio 2010 vs SQL Server 2012, then we can use ODBC Generic Driver to connect database as shown in the below figure:
